10 Holiday Gift Ideas for Mommy & Baby

If you are a bestie or partner to a mom of a sweet babe, you’re probably looking for gifts year ‘round. There’s Mother’s Day, birthdays, holidays, baby showers, gender reveals, Christmas or Hanukkah, and all of the special everyday moments in between.

Finding the right gift for a chic mom in need of some serious TLC just once per year can be difficult, but for multiple holidays and events? Your idea bank might be running dry! Plus, there’s the age-old question: Do you get a gift for Mommy, for Baby, or for both??

When in doubt, I say both, but if you’re thinking that your work just doubled, don’t worry. I’ve got you covered. Today, I’m sharing my top 10 gift ideas: 5 for mothers and 5 for the little ones. Oh, and if you’re a mom yourself, forward this gift guide along with a gentle nudge to your partner… you’ll be glad you did. ;)

Gifts for Mommy

1. The Robin | Faux Fur Slides

Mamas are notorious for being on their feet all day, so why not gift her with a pair of stylish shoes that are like walking on pillows? These faux fur slides by Birdies are the perfect mix of chic style and everyday comfort. Bonus: They’re vegan and come in four great colors. (I have several pairs myself and love the versatility.) Let’s call this one a “shoe-in” for the best gift!

2. Bright Eyes Mask

Whether she’s a mama-to-be or mama-of-3, let’s be honest, she isn’t getting her beauty rest. In fact, she’s pretty sure that a full night’s sleep will never happen again! The Bright Eyes Mask is the gift of self-care, one that helps brighten and depuff the tired, delicate skin under her eyes. It’s also made with 95% organic aloe water and 5% plant cellulose for low-tox, intense hydration. She may still be tired after, but at least she will feel a boost of restored health and confidence!

3. Bala Bangles

Mama thrives on a little me-time fitness, but she probably cancelled her Equinox membership in 2020 for safety. Now, she squeezes in workouts between her yoga mat, Peloton, and diaper changes. If that sounds like the mama you know, these Bala Bangles could be the perfect gift! I ordered their Essentials Kit for myself and love their sleek designs and wide range of colors and patterns. She can wear these on her wrists or ankles, out to the park, grocery store, or even during diaper changes! Hello, easy resistance training.

Fun Fact: Bala Bangles appeared on Shark Tank in February 2020, and received funding from Maria Sharapova and Mark Cuban.

Quick word of caution: Be careful getting a hardworking mama anything fitness-related unless she has expressed direct interest in it… or you may find yourself in a tough spot!

4. Diamond “Mama” Ring by Sue Gragg

Although this is more of a splurge, she will likely treasure this piece and wear it often, and this Diamond “Mama” Ring is a stunning piece of jewelry with sentimental meaning. This ring comes in rose, yellow, or white 18k gold, and it’s made exclusively for The Tot, a company dedicated to family-friendly and eco-friendly products, by jeweler Sue Gragg.

5. The Everyday Robe

Every mother needs a buttery soft robe to slip into in the evenings or more likely, live in all day long. Designed by a stylish-chic new mama (and a former client of mine!), The Everyday Robe by AGF helps moms feel cozy and put together while offering plenty of functional support with front-facing pockets and plenty of stretch for grasping baby hands.

Gifts for Baby

1. Pretty Please Teether

Baby deserves the best, and these handmade teethers are the perfect natural and eco-friendly gift. This company goes above and beyond to select high-quality, eco-conscious materials that are safe for your little ones and the environment. (They have a really clean, modern look that Momma is sure to love.) I would pair the knit pacifier holder + modern pacifier + teething ring for a great gift set!

2. Play at Home Activity Gym

The Play at Home Activity Gym is the perfect way to encourage physical activity and movement while keeping a close eye on your littles. This Home Activity Gym has tons of play options, including a basketball hoop, slide, climbing wall, swing, rope climber, and monkey bars. I also love the natural wood and black and white finish. Play is fun, but there’s no reason parents can’t enjoy a little style, right?

3. De Buci Baby Teddy Bear

Give Baby their first classic teddy with this De Buci Baby Teddy Bear. I am always searching for chic stuffed animals for my kids’ room projects (to create that adorable, picture-perfect moment, of course), and the De Buci Baby Teddy Bears are my favorite. They have timeless style and heirloom-quality charm — and you can personalize them for an extra special touch! Perfect for cuddles or displaying.

4. Hermès Bath Towel

Baby doesn’t know it yet, but he/she loves Hermès. After all, who doesn’t? What’s more classic and chic? This sweet yet stylish bath towel is made in France with jacquard terry cloth in 100% cotton, offering the ideal conditions for a post-bath swaddle and snuggle.

5. Leopard Print Baby Carrier

A baby carrier is a must-have for any new mom, and there’s no reason not to carry those bundles of joy in style. If you’re looking to splurge on your little one, I suggest getting them this Artipoppe leopard print baby carrier. It is machine washable, 100% cotton, and super comfortable for taking a Mommy-and-mini-me walk to get your cold-pressed juice and some fresh air. An alternative is the Baby Bjorn carrier, which isn’t as spendy but is still stylish in soothing neutrals.

Finding the perfect gift for mom and baby is all about stylish, comfortable finds they can use and enjoy all the time.
