THESE 10 TREES WILL GET YOUR KIDS ROOM HOLIDAY READY

Thanksgiving has come and gone, so for those of you that haven’t already spent the last weekend at the Christmas Tree lot, this post is for you!

Growing up, my mom always decorated every inch of our home with Christmas decor, holiday music and the sweet aroma of baked goods. A LOT of baked goods. One thing that I don’t remember very well is if our bedrooms as kids also got the holiday decorating treatment. I’m pretty sure I would remember some specifics about that which I don’t, so I’m going to say that our bedrooms weren’t a part of the holiday home decor - as has become the trend now-a-days. You guys, Christmas trees in your kids rooms is an actual thing. This would have never happened in the 80’s, right?! But let’s get with the times. I know many families buy more than one tree in the first place, so what’s adding one more, right?! We’ll just roll with it because I’ve rounded up 10 holiday ready kids rooms with a tree front and center to convince you that the more the merrier!

#1 - snow flocked with pink all over.

Nothing sweeter than a snow flocked tree with pink and silver all over. Mixing in a few ribbons and floral stems will help fill any holes and bring home those winter fairy vibes. Keeping the colors in line with the nursery decor is a perfect fit for this dreamy space.

#2 - ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU TWO TREES.

Remember when I said, “the more the merrier”? Kelley Nan took it up a notch with TWO Christmas trees flanking the crib and a garland lining the crib skirt! So beautiful and festive. *Side note - for anyone worried about the proximity of these trees/decor to the crib, keep in mind that using fabric ornaments or wool garlands, (never glass or metal) for the tree decor in your kids rooms is always a good idea and you can easily slide the tree itself away from the crib if your child is standing, crawling or walking. Use larger ornaments that can’t pass through a toilet paper roll to keep kids from successfully sticking anything in their mouths. Keeping safety in mind is top priority and shouldn’t prohibit you from decorating in a beautiful way like this. Do your homework on safety hazards and most of all, use those mama bear instincts. As long as you babyproof thoroughly you are on your way to Christmas decor bliss!

#3 - MERRY AND BRIGHT.

The perfect size tree for a nursery. Honey We’re Home used a cheery pop of color with wool ornaments and I’m all about it because ornaments made of organic materials are the safest bet when near your little ones. Other ornaments can contain lead from paints, heavy metals, mercury glass and/or phthalates. Sorry for the bum news on holiday decorating but it is certainly something to research and think about.

#4 - visions of sugarplums.

Pint-sized yet loaded with eye candy. Literally! Cotton candy, ice cream cones and gingerbread men are the sweetest ornaments perfectly themed on this mini flocked tree. Don’t these white trees make you want to bundle up and head to the snow?!

#5 - oh what fun!

Mini and bright, what is cuter than a 3’ tree?! Nothing! This baby tree will add a festive spirit to the play room…all day.

#6 - i’m dreaming of a white christmas...IN PARIS!

In a mixture of snowflakes and metallic baubles, I’m seeing a few Eiffel Towers on this tree and I’m not hating on it.

#7 - have yourself a merry little christmas.

100 Layer Cakelet shared this festive nursery on their blog and it deserves some attention. From the holiday themed books in the bookcase to the mini tree, garland, stockings and pillows, this room is surely feeling the season.

#8 - HAVE YOURSELF A MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS.

Not only do we have a pink Christmas tree here, we have the cutest containers! Toss the wonky tree stand and put your mini trees in repurposed containers or toy bins just for the holidays! I love this idea.

#9 - a holly jolly christmas.

In traditional Christmas colors and a felt garland, this mini tree is perfect for a kids room. Nesting with Grace shares more photos on her blog along with her master bedroom holiday decor. It’s festive, warm and so beautiful.

#10 - santa claus and superheros are coming to town.

Jess, from House on 77th has all of the boys hearts with this black and white mini tree. The Christmas decor in this room works so well in both style and color with the already adorable Superhero boys room theme.
