THE WEEKEND INSPIRATION PROJECT - JULY 3, 2020

Hola! And here we are again with my weekly dose of inspiration. These are the instagram posts that I have saved/bookmarked to my account this week. These are the images that inspire me - not only nurseries and kids rooms - here you’ll get to see my personal style: interior design, fashion, recipes I love, and anything else that catches my eye! And this week truly does represent the look of Summer and the Fourth of July! I’m clearly on the hunt for cute swimsuits, simplicity in nursery design and saving my last minute Fourth of July BBQ recipes.

Vani Hari, of the Food Babe has shared some Healthy & Organic Fourth of July recipes and her recommendations allll look so delish! I’ve already made my grocery list and my husband is off to Sprouts. We will be making the Pineapple turkey burgers, Grapefruit goddess salad, 7 layer bean dip and Ginger Ale. I will update you with how everything turned out!

Without further ado, here’s what I saved this week:

Combining my two loves - chic interior design and fur babies…I love everything in this photo!

As you will see, I just stumbled upon Montce Swim and am clearly eyeing multiple sets! Loving these combos so much!

My husband and I are trying to find ideas for a covered patio in our backyard. We have this giant, beautiful outdoor dining table but the sun beats down on it so we really only get to enjoy when the sun starts to go down. We’d love to be able to sit outside during the day, so adding some sort of cover above it is a must. Sivan Ayla shared three different ideas on her page and this was one of them. We would want the top to be a solid cover or maybe add a fabric draping to help filter the sun light. Anyway, our search continues!

Yes to this entire outfit. Loving this textured one-piece. Not gonna lie, I’ll need to work on my tan first to make this color work.

I just found this sitting area to be peaceful. Designed by Studio Tate, just looking at photos of this Holism Retreat makes me want to sink into a spa and relax with sliced cucumbers on my eyes. Serious tranquil vibes going on here. Take a look!

Yes, I saved some nursery inspiration this week. I always do! I’ll just let you enjoy these three nursery room images from City Sage. Soft color palette and all the peaceful feels.

I saw this post from Vani Hari of the Food Babe and saved it immediately. I hadn’t even started to think about what we would be preparing this weekend and thankfully she pulled these suggestions together! You guys, everything on this list sounds amazing. We will be making the pineapple turkey burgers, grapefruit goddess salad, ginger ale -which seems so easy and refreshing! And I also found a 7 layer dip on another one of her blog posts so we’ll be whipping that up as well. We may be over doing it since it’ll only be the two of us lol, but I couldn’t make a decision on what to eliminate…so we shall try it all!

Hope you all have a safe and relaxing Fourth of July!
